I opened it and it isn’t charging. I left it on overnight and it’s flashing a green and red light. None of the instructions say this. TRASH!

On top of all the other reviews. My ihere is no longer charging !! I would Like a replacement with the bugs fixed!
iHere worked well at helping find lost keys. It did what it's supposed to do. I very much like that the fobs are rechargeable. IMO, that's more useful than iHere's major competitor. That competitor's fobs neither recharge nor allow you to replace its batteries, yet those fobs tend to die after one year. My two iHere fobs lasted 3 or so years before they could no longer hold a charge. That's pretty good. I plan to buy iHere's again.
Don’t usually do reviews but I am so aggravated. The first one quit holding a charge and wouldn’t work unless it was plugged in which makes it absolutely useless since you can’t take it with you when you leave the house. After weeks of poor communication they sent me a new one. It has been charging for over 24 hours and it doesn’t work. You are supposed to charge it until the red light turns green. I finally unplugged it and the light is still red and it won’t go off and the iHere does not work at all. The communication from this company is horrible. Every time I try to contact them I get their stock text that says to send a copy of the receipt and what to do for warranty issues which does me no good. I have gotten the same text over and over not to mention that some of them are in the middle of the night and wake me up. Takes them forever to respond by email. Piece of junk...
Absolute garbage, go buy water from a public fountain instead!! I wouldn’t give any stars if I could...
I tried to enable location access ONLY while using the app, but that was not allowed. It wants 24/7 access to your location. Plus, it won’t let you get past the set up screen unless you give it access to your audio (to record you-it even says that) and camera. I don’t care about the remote selfies- just wanted to use it for a key finder. This app WAY oversteps on privacy. Will not be using it. 👎👎
I’m sorry but if I’m hitting the button to find my phone while it has a significant charge. It should ring. This system is a complete waste of time. Don’t bother
Useless. I even contacted them and no response. Save your money this doesn’t work at all. Maybe try spending extra money on Tile instead. NOT RECOMMENDED!
I can’t progress beyond the opening screen of this lousy app until I grant it full access to my phone’s location, always, even when I’m not using the app, *and* then also to the microphone and the camera? Are you people insane? All this should require is Bluetooth so I can make the key fob beep - instead your brain dead developers require privacy permissions beyond all reason. Sorry - I’ll be returning this little piece of invasive junk tomorrow.
It’s junk don’t waste your time and money. Doesn’t keep a charge and must be plug in the entire time. I got it 50 percent off, go figure! Need to stop it on the credit card
I’ve had it for 2 days and when doing spot checks, I’m constantly having to turn off/on Bluetooth to reconnect it. Very inconsistent so far and there’s probably better options out there. Hopefully future updates will allow me to change my rating
I’ve had this thing for years & for 25 bucks on Amazon it’s the best deal I could possibly imagine… The battery still maintains a full charge at least a week or two and still isn’t dead after Irs – And seems to never have problems connecting to Bluetooth when stuff that I bought in the past few months is always going on and off annoying Simple, multi functional and does not require a new battery every so often
The device worked for two days then stoped working. In the time it worked it was off by over 1,000 feet. When I tried to contact customer service I was unable unless I joined their membership which makes me give my email address to them so they can use for advertising. Very expensive device that does not work with several cheaper ones on the market with more then one positive review.
The iHere Smart Key Finder is a jewel. This device is a Key Finder, Selfie Remote, Car Finder, and Records your voice.. Four in One. It's a great device. It has a separation alert which has saved me too many times to count. I seem to just place my keys by a product in stores and then walk away... seconds later I get an alert and my keys are yelling... Last time was in a Walmart store in the Auto section with a crowd of people. Just Wait ... it's RECHARGEABLE !! App is well designed to do everything and list the amount of charge. I have the TILE... and if you leave it behind, hopefully you will find your item by retracing your steps because it does not have a separation alert. I have 3 of these babies and I would not leave home without any of them..my keys, my wallet, and my Apple iPods Wireless. Priced right and does so much more, than all the other trackers. I give it 5 stars, you will not be disappointed, especially when it saves or finds your lost item.. your car, takes a selfie quickly or records your friend or in my case my Dr. to actually remember his instructions. It's really a jewel of a device ...www.nonda.co Check it out .. it's a winner !!!!
This version apparently requires you to give the app access to your camera and microphone. I'm not going to do that and I'm not going to throw all the device I've bought so I expect the company to fix that. I'd suggest that nobody buy these until they do fix that problem, it's probably just a goof on somebody's part. This is much louder than a Tile device, which is important. You can use your keys to find your phone and your phone to find your keys, brilliant.
I lose my keys now and then. This app, with the help of the iHere helps me find them. I don't use the other features. I do have one suggestion for the developers; make a push notification to tell me when the battery is low. The iHere is rechargeable and that's great, but it's not going to do me any good when the battery dies. Seems simple enough if you can track the battery level which it can. That's probably my biggest issue with the app. The keyfob/device, it's pretty good too. My one issue is that it randomly starts beeping at times, kind of like the separation alarm is on but it isn't. It's kind of spotty. Does it for a few days and then stops.
It works for demo. It alerts when it's connected. However, the app and the device disconnect constantly.
good tool but the Voice Recorder does not work firmware 0.9.0.8
It's really not a good update that disconnects you from all your devices. Still disconnected and deeply disappointed.
The first one was defective and I wrote a negative review. I contacted the company. The company was great and sent me a new one quite fast. It works beautifully. I can say I am very happy with the product and happier with the company that backed their product!
With regard to other reviews- The whole distance thing NEEDS to be adjustable. I can't speak for others. But considering the main times I want to be alerted (from iPhone or keys) is way LESS THAN 75 feet. In my world, 75 feet is [already in my jeep] from the bank teller. 75 feet is in the next store, while shopping. I need to be alerted BEFORE [misplacing/forgetting to pick up off counter] becomes lost. My thing is to prevent as opposed to having to turn my jeep around to retrieve my $700 iPhone that I left on the counter while going through my pockets or bag, right? Of course I'm right. There needs to be a slider to adjust "distance to alert". As for crappy battery life, mines been ok... But it's barley been a week!?! But if the battery can't,at the very least.. last 1 year, mine will get returned. Technology is as such, that when new rechargeable a don't at least last a year then someone in production is trying to save money at the customers expense. Which today, in business w social media; a few dissatisfied people and your sunk. I hope the iHere guys are reading these. I'll be back to update after true beta testing.
Worked 2/4 times. Nothing will frustrate you more.
Cannot use app without enabling camera and mic. Really?! Cannot use app without giving them your email address. Buzz off nando!
I bought 3 iHere gen 3s to replace my Tiles in an attempt to be more environmentally friendly (the Tile doesn't have rechargeable batteries.) However, there is no way to turn off the "phone finder" so the button can be inadvertently pressed in your wallet or by something on your keychain and even if your phone is on silent or do not disturb it will ring. Turning off notifications for the app does not help, nor does Nonda have a solution other than turning down the volume all the way (but even then it rings, albeit quieter). This is a sufficient reason not to use it- I've had my phone go off at full volume in a 400 person lecture hall and during presentations. PLEASE FIX THIS- otherwise it's useless for those of us who can't have their phone going off randomly/ have things in their pockets that can press the button
Fast and accurate tracking and no noticeable drain on battery. Great app and a great device!
I don't use it to find my keys or things but as a super fun training tool with my pup! I have taught her to associate the sound with a reward and we play hide and seek with it. She loves this game. Also great to get her to come , if I hold it and activate it, she comes running. Only wish there was a volume control, louder would be great for outdoors. Thanks guys! Cool tool!
Like how do I find my car??? It's not pacifically explain how to find it only press the button ??? Like how do I set it up with my car not how to press the button. I know how to do that! Needs a huge update other than that it finds my phone and keys in range and does show last location on keys
Fob that goes on keychain is too big. Volume of beep is too low. App is so stupid: you have to have have "call phone" selected in the app or the remote won't call the phone - it will do whatever you last selected instead (take a selfie, voice recording, etc.). Can't get back to FAQ within the app either. Navigation in ui is crap.
Super glad I purchased two of these. App works great. Never crashes on iPhone 6. Have one on my money clip and key fob. Batteries last forever when connected!!!! Keep it up!
It crashes while attempting firmware update on ihere device on iPhone 6 running ios 9. Update 2 Now it keeps asking to firmware update the device. The app and the device is useless as of the most recent update.
Update 10/30/2015 Lost my fob and the last location shown was over a day old. Did not give me a separation warning. Ordered a gen2 version hoping for the best. App is stuck in an update loop and is unusable again. Hardware seems good but this is a solid string of bad/sloppy software which is a death blow to a device that's supposed to be an always there convenience. Update:10/22/2015 Another update corrected the previous one and now the app seems to work well. 4 stars because it's a 5 star device with questionable reliability on the app side. Update: they quickly addressed the issue and released another update that includes adapting it to iPhone 4s screen... Sadly this update makes it crash as soon as you launch it so even worse than before. --- This worked as advertised until an app update this morning. After the update it runs you through the setup process part of which is granting access to camera and mic. On a 4s screen the camera access button is glitched and you can't press it so the app won't let you continue the setup. Now it doesn't work at all. Hopefully they resolve this and I will update the rating
every time I open the app all it does is request to pair with Bluetooth and keeps installing updates.. Can't really use the app.
After the last update, everything works like a charm!
The app keeps crashing on iOS 9. You guys better fix it, or iOS users will have to return the devices
I myself have a iPhone four s I am not sure if that is what is causing the problem but with every other app I haven't had a single problem but whenever I click the button to start up the app it goes to a blue screen with nothing on it and then it crashes after a few seconds.
I think tuis cool. I only checked out two different ones and this one looked best but i dont like how the app needs to be open for it to work (this means that the app needs to be open and using my data) but i bought it to find my keys and it does that just fine wish the ring would be louder.
Parts I like a lot and parts not so much. What I like: When in bluetooth range, the iHere device chimes loud enough I can hear pretty well (though maybe not in a noisy place) AND it lights up. So if looking for something that's at home, we should be able find what we're looking for -- no prob. I like that it has a battery indicator. And I like that the iHere device itself is rechargeable. Nice that I should be able to activate the camera on my phone and use iHere to take voice notes too, but I haven't tried those yet. What I really really like is that I can press the button on the iHome and "call" the phone that runs the app. So if my kiddo has it the iHere device attached to her keys she can "call" my phone (from within bluetooth range). And/or if I misplace my phone, this might help me find it. What I don't like: The map locator function is very confusing and possibly very buggy. When I try to locate the iHere device from within the app on my phone, if iHere is out of range, a screen comes up that says "Report Lost" and a tiny bit of a map appears at the bottom of the screen (like a half a centimeter tall). I can scroll that tiny bit of map with my finger, but it's so small I can't tell where anything is on that map. You can slide the screen that overlaps the map out of the way, but usually DOESN'T work. I can try to slide it up five or more times and nothing. Then sometimes it will work for no reason that I can figure out. AND worse yet, when I do manage to see a full-screen map, the map seems to show where my PHONE is or where I last opened the APP and NOT where the iHere device was last within range. THAT PART IS SO NOT HELPFUL. If I'm USING the app I know where my PHONE is. I can't find any part of the app that toggles this to show, on the map, where the iHere was last "seen." Sigh. Tempted to give fewer than three stars since the map is so buggy. But I do like other parts, so I'm hoping the map gets fixed. Could be pretty cool, so I hope some of these things get fixed.
Now you have to long pressing when you pair iHere with your phone, but they don't tell...
The app is good however it was missing the battery indicator which caused battery to die while I'm out. Now this issue is solved. I will update my review after a while.
The new menu isn't complete. Can't locate car on map, and can't locate iPhone anymore. Really limits use. Please fix!! My app screen does not look like examples in instructions.
No more find phone option. App crashes when using voice recorder. Disappointing upgrade.
